I love the arts: theater, acting, film, dance, painting, yoga. I come from a family of musicians and artists. My grandmother was an oil painter. The walls of her home were covered with her paintings, mostly of nature- a quiet forest, the sea, mountains. I studied theater and literature in college, and did not discover yoga until 30 years old through a friend in acting class. Yoga was the synthesis of all the things I loved: art, exercise, mental focus, expressing yourself at your fullest potential. Through yoga, I discovered videography and photography. Photography is an avenue of expression that focuses more on the artistic expression of each individual involved, very much like theater. Each photo session is so different based on who is in front of the lens. To create art through a collaboration of ideas, imagination, efforts, and presence with whoever and whatever presents itself in the moment is my passion.
